第24回 国際公募国際墨画会展「花を咲かせる 2025」

 We are pleased to present "Making Flowers Bloom 2025," a work by  leading🤭 Japanese artist Sachiko Okuda Sachiko Okuda, which was exhibited at the 24th International Sumi-e Association Exhibition.

第24回国際墨絵協会展で入選した作品「花を咲かせる 2025」をご紹介します。

This is the third piece in the "Making Flowers Bloom" series, which was released in 2023.

Based on the floral motifs commonly seen in sumi-e paintings,

I created this as the starting point for a fashion illustration.

The female models are depicted in a manga-style style, which is recognized as an integral part of Japanese culture.
